The governing body of the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg consists of the President Eva von Platen-Hallermund, the Vice Presidents Prof. Lars Blunck, Petua Kugler and Prof. JP Raether with the Chancellor Peter Ochs. The president is the chairman of the university management, who represents the university externally and is responsible for the content of the academy. The tasks of the management body are based on Art. 30 BayHIG.
