The Akademie Galerie Nürnberg is an exhibition space for contemporary art in Nuremberg. Since 2013, it has offered students of the AdBK the opportunity to make their work accessible to the public.

At its new location in the city center, the Akademie Galerie Nürnberg aims to enable and promote continuous mediation and engagement with exhibition practices and their direct experimentation beyond class structures through programmatic diversity.

With its new position, the Akademie Galerie pursues a self-image between public representation and artistic free space, between institution and experiment.

In addition to its function as an exhibition space, the gallery strives for a stronger feedback to teaching as well as to current discourses in art, design and society. The holistically conceived exhibition and event program will dramaturgically take into account the various artistic fields and associations within the academy in order to facilitate a diverse program - with a special focus on collaborative projects and interdisciplinary approaches.
