The student exhibition project Die Vitrine has been running for over 20 years. Initially, it was located in the Königstorpassage. It then moved to the Künstlerhaus as a co-operation project with the KunstKulturQuartier Nürnberg.

Now a new era is being ushered in and from March 2024, Die Vitrine will occupy the windows of the Kunsthalle Nürnberg. A new space opens up here.

The showcase invites visitors to stand in front of the large display windows and marvel at the projects of all kinds that are being realised and the new exhibition forms being tried out by students. On display are young, experimental positions whose artistic spectrum ranges from painting, film and performance to a brilliant accompanying programme.

It is currently curated by Sophie Herz.
