Die Freunde der Akademie e.V.

Förderverein der Akademie

Die Freunde support talented students of the Academy and their artistic projects, sponsor exhibitions and publications.

Since 1980, we have awarded annual Academy prizes and promote outstanding students in all sixteen classes with class and material prizes.

With the Akademie Galerie Nürnberg, we finance a student exhibition space at Nuremberg's Hauptmarkt.

In addition, we facilitate study trips to museums and to current exhibitions.

Within the framework of partnerships of the Academy in Vienna, Urbino, Nice, Cuenca, Palermo, Krakow, Riga, Budapest and Helsinki, among others, die Freunde promote student exchange. With lecture series we enrich the public offer and thus the external effect of the academy. Die Freunde accompany young artists through their studies!
