After completing her studies in the class of Prof. Michael Hakimi and Prof. Katharina Wulff at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Nuremberg and the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Karlsruhe, Nele Jäger (*1992) studied sculpture at Bard College in New York.
In 2021, her work was awarded the Federal Prize for Art Students by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the Bavarian Art Promotion Prize by the State Ministry of Science and Art.
Nele Jäger has exhibited in various art institutions and project spaces in Europe and the United States, including: Bundeskunsthalle Bonn, The Guest New York, Haus der Kulturen der Welt Berlin, Albrecht Dürer Gesellschaft Nuremberg, Maumaus Lisbon.
