Das Ausstellungsprogramm für den Winter 2025/2026

ist erschienen

The start of the winter semester also marks the beginning of the new exhibition program at the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg. This semester, we are once again inviting visitors to a diverse range of exhibitions offering insights into current artistic positions and projects from the academy.

The program kicks off with Edge Work by Chloe Langford, Cy X, Dylan Kerr, and Julia Rostenstock. Edge Work combines exhibition and performance, bringing together sound, poetry, sculpture, interaction, and other artistic forms.

On October 24, Sophie Erles' solo exhibition whispers in between opens, which deals with the delicate, the in-between—with going and staying, connecting and letting go—and the quiet moments when life tips over.

With The obstinacy of vibrant matter, teachers from the AdBK Nuremberg are exhibiting at the Akademie Galerie for the first time. The exhibition opens on November 21.

For the fifth time, the Akademie Galerie is hosting the Signed & Numbered exhibition format during the Christmas season. This time, the focus is on risography. Opening on December 5.

Based on two performances on January 9 and 10, 2026, Antonia Schnabl creates traces that will be condensed in the exhibition in March 2026.

The leaflet was designed by Timm Frosch (class of Prof. Holger Felten). The production process is also particularly noteworthy: the exhibition flyer was printed using the academy's risograph. Risograph printing is characterized by the fact that the ink is applied to the paper without the use of chemicals.
