The 2026 Academy Prizes and the 2026 DAAD Prize were awarded at the opening of the annual exhibition.
The jury comprised Léon Kruijswijk (curator of performance, Mudam Luxembourg), Lee Everett Thieler (photographer, Berlin) and Antje Weitzel (artistic director, Künstlerhaus Bethanien).
The jury decided to award the Academy Prize to two classes as well as seven artistic groups and individual artists.

The jury for the AdBK Nuremberg’s FILM & VIDEO 2026 Special Prize consisted of Lea Höhn (representing the students), Prof. Anike Joyce Sadiq, Prof. Lars Blunck, Nele Jäger and Bernd Klausecker. They awarded three prizes.
