FOR INCOMING STUDENTS

CURRENT FACT SHEET

We at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste Nürnberg (AdBK) welcome students from different countries every semester.
Your semester will start with a Welcoming Day, before the start of the lecture period, where we will meet in the International Office to get to know each other and introduce you to our Erasmus Buddies. These will be there to help you the whole duration of the semester. You will also get a checklist and a sheet with the most important deadlines on it - make sure to keep it.

With you acceptance to AdBK you are assigned to a specific class. You will work on your own artistic pieces and also join the class meetings. In those you and your classmates are going to discuss and talk about your works. In addition to that, it is also warmly recommended to join workshops and lectures. It is also possible to occasionally join other class meetings, if you‘re interested in it. Feel free to ask their professor.

The presentations and the examination times are determined by the respective professor. If you‘re going to stay until or even in the summer semester, there will be also the possibility to participate in the final exhibition at the end of the course period.

For choosing courses please take a look at our course catalogue. You will find it at our website at the login area named eCampus. You can enroll in those classes via the myCampus system once you are registered as a student here.

If you have any questions before or during the mobility, do not hesitate to either contact us or the Erasmus Buddies.
